Passenger 23
Our friends at Audible asked for our assistance on a pan European project working alongside their German colleagues.
This was the 2nd Audible originals dramatization of Sebastian Fitzek’s work.
Passenger 23 is a gripping psychological thriller set on high seas where a transatlantic crossing becomes a nightmare. Starring Max Beesley Rebecca Hall, and Anthony Head the story centers around the strange disappearances of people on a cruise liner and the physiological unraveling of the story’s main character.
I teamed up with Bart Reszelski and we worked along side the German team who were already producing a promo trailer. We were commissioned to create new scenes with the UK cast and to then edit these with the German footage. This was a challenge on many levels, from marrying our new scenes the existing footage, to then editing it all together to produce a dramatic and engaging trailer in record time.
We spent a day shooting and filming with the fantastic Max Beesley and then developed the filmed scenes in post. We also shot a series of cover images to produce haunting and engaging cover.
The entire project was completed in less than 4 weeks from initial briefing to delivery.
The end result was very well received and had great audience reception across the board.
